Why does this image go with this poem?
This image is taken from North Point on the South of Storm King Mountain. The road is rte 218 which meanders around the edge of the Mountain, high above the Hudson River. I thought it worked well with this poem precisely because it doesn't fit or belong but it sure is a great achievement, as well as a fantastic driving experience. Someone had the vision, someone else made it happen and then later still after the future of Storm King was saved for us all it provides something extraordinary on a lazy Summer’s afternoon
